In 2020, the MASS Beijing Chinese Language School took action to support our local community during the COVID-19 pandemic. We donated PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to the UMass Medical Center. Our Principal, Mr. Xu, delivered the PPEs to the hospital.
Our students actively participated in this effort by creating thoughtful thank you cards for the hospital staff. These handwritten cards were a heartfelt way for our students to express their gratitude and support for the healthcare heroes working on the front lines.
Local news outlets recognized our donation efforts. The Community Advocate newspaper reported on our school’s fundraising for medical professionals during this challenging time, highlighting our commitment to the community.
