Our commitment to Shrewsbury goes beyond parades. On December 21, 2016, the MASS Beijing Chinese Language School donated a $5,000 check to the Shrewsbury Public School Committee. This donation established a scholarship of $500 per year for ten years to be awarded to outstanding senior Mandarin class students at Shrewsbury High School. We believe in supporting local education and are honored to contribute to the success of students in our community.
Principal Weichu Xu, along with 9th-grade students Jessica Peng and Sophia Peng, presented the check, demonstrating our school’s dedication to fostering a love for the Chinese language and culture.
